I couldn’t miss these fabulous looking girls from DRA Dance Collective. Apart from spotting a killer 40/60s look they are also contemporary dancers.
Top Vintage Lovelies & Fashion Bloggers flock to VAG
We used to be WAG-obsessed, now it’s all about VAG (a vintage-inspired festival that took place at the Goodwood estate on 13-15 August 2010).
Unfortunately I was only there for a few hours, so am not in the position to judge. I chatted to as many vintage beauties as I could (who happily posed for photos) and got an impression that they were having a ball. It looked like the Beauty Box was a big hit with the ladies and if I had more time I would have explored it a bit more (=as “vintage look” gets embraced by more and more contemporary hairstylists and make-up artists)
I would probably agree with comments from a top fashion blogger Susie (Style Bubble), but also Lady M Presents and with some of what Amelia’s Magazine said. It did give off a slight whiff of conspicuous consumption.
Anyway, overall I think it was a day to remember and I am sure VAG organisers will learn from their little hiccups and make it even more special next year.
